It all started when…

Lori delivered a Cookie Monster smash-cake to her niece's first birthday party. But not really. Lori graduated from The French Pastry School in Chicago in 2008 with the intent to use her skills to eventually retire to a small mountain town and start her own bakery.

After multiple trips to the American West, getting married in the Blue Ridge Mountains, making numerous summits, scaling big walls and crags, running countless marathons and adopting three dogs, she decided the bakery wouldn't wait.
